Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actor, is well-known for her roles in film and television since the late 1980s. The actress has won numerous honors, such as two Golden Globe Awards, and sixteen NAACP Image Award. Her work has been recognized for TV and film since the late 1980s she's won numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born in New York New York, is a well-known actress. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, made the move away from the city of their birth to St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the separated father. Bassett was a fan of James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still in highschool and realized that acting is what she was looking to pursue. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. BA. (Afro-American studies) in the year 1980. An M.A. in Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main parts in the film Ramonda in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
