Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. Her name has been praised for her film and TV performance since the 1980s. Her accolades comprise the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was born in New York New York and fostered by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father at about five. Her younger sister then went to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was in high school when saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal of becoming an actor had been realized. She was a student at Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she married Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980, Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action film, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
