Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress is well known for her roles in film and television in the latter half of the 1980s. She has received various honors, like the Golden Globe Award, and sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Her work has been recognized for TV and film in the 1980s, she has received various accolades like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett is a native of New York New York and fostered by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father when she was around five. She and her younger sister then moved into St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. In high school, Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. She was a student at Yale University New Haven Connecticut earning a bachelor's diploma (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. The year 1997 was the time she was married Courtney B. Vance who was an actor in the same group. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year. She was a student at the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action movie, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
