Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actor since the late 1980s. In the last decade Angela Evelyn has appeared in television and film. Her work has been recognized with several awards, among them the 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett originates born in New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett as well as her mother and sister were moved from the city of Winston-Salem to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was just five. Their father split from the mother of their children. While in high school Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. When she graduated of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980, with a Bachelor's Degree in African American Studies, she went on to earn a Master's Degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year 1980. The school she attended was the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working in one of the lead characters as Ramonda in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
